New to birdwatching, or a more advanced twitcher? This short walk will introduce you to the birdlife of Haigh. Haigh plays host to a variety of bird species, join us to discover more about our feathery friends and learn how to identify them from sight and sound. The park is a great place to learn about woodland and parkland birds, we will even keep an ear and eye out for the Willow Tit, a declining species where parts of the park are still a good place to spot this. The route will be over uneven ground, sturdy footwear is advised.

The Grade II listed Plantation Gates and Lodge are being fully restored and transformed into a welcome and information point for visitors to Haigh Woodland Park. The lodges will feature a dedicated art installation space, creating a unique destination where heritage meets creativity. Help us to celebrate the launch of this exciting new space and be among the first to experience this stunning new addition to the park.
